Early Buddhist
Research Institute
Over the past 2,500 years, Buddhism has rooted itself into the land of many nations. It was well flourishing in these nations for a long period but as time passed, it became deteriorated. Many countries used to be Buddhist countries in the past while some managed to protect and preserve Buddhism as their national religion. For this reason, the Buddha’s teachings are dispersed in various places with some differences depending on the social context at the time.
