The Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Co-operation between University of Otago and Dhammachai International Research Institute of New Zealand-Australia (DIRI)
Purpose : The objectives of this memorandum are for exchanging knowledge, documents and inscriptions between two organizations in order to support academic staffs. Therefore, the University of Otago will support DIRI’s researchers to work as teaching assistant in the Theology Department. On the other hand, DIRI provides fund as the annual scholarship to a top student who achieves the highest score in Buddhist Studies. During the year 1979-1022, two institutes are under three MoU agreements.

Purpose : Under the MoU agreement, two organizations will focus on study and research co-operation in Buddhist Studies. The co-operation also includes the student and researcher exchange program and developing training program for academic staffs.

The Memorandum of Understanding for Gandari Manuscript Studies Project between The University of Washington and Dhammachai International Research Institute of New Zealand-Australia (DIRI)
Purpose : The aim of co-operation is to support Gandari Manuscript Studies Project. Therefore, DIRI also provides fund for scholarships to students in this area of study and Gandari Studies text publishing. Nearly the end of the year 2011, there was a team of researcher from DIRI joined Gandari reading group. As the kind of Prof. Richard Salomon and Dr Thimothy Lenz, our exchange student and researchers also had a chance to attended the special foundation classes before joining that Gandari reading group. During the year 2011-2024 B.E., two institutes have been under two MoU agreements.

Purpose : This research co-operation includes lecture, seminar, and staff exchange program for researchers and students. The MOU of two institutes also emphasize on the ancient manuscript transliteration (1,000-2,000 years).

Purpose : The research Co-operation consists of joint research in topic that relates to Buddhism and exchange program for researchers and students. Currently, the project is under the MOU, signed on 26th June 2015. This agreement becomes effective for five years.

The Memorandum of Understanding for study and propagation of Buddhism between Dafo Monastery, Chaina and Dhammachai International Research Institute of New Zealand-Australia (DIRI)
Purpose : The agreement is the co-operative in global Buddhist Studies and its propagation in order to support Buddhist arts as the preservation and development projects. The two parties signed MOU in June, 26th 2015 B.E., the agreement has been effective since then and covered to the next five years.

Purpose : For academic cooperation such as collaboration in research, teaching and academic seminars as well as exchanges of scholars, researchers, students, information, and academic manuscripts. DIRI and Gautam Buddha University signed the MoU on July 26, 2013 up until either party terminates the academic cooperation.

Purpose : For academic cooperation such as collaboration in research, teaching and academic seminars as well as exchanges of scholars, researchers, students, information, and academic manuscripts, To support Buddhist and Peace studies by establishment of center for Buddhist and Peace studies at Svami Vivekananda Subharti University, as well as Conservation and development of Buddhist art and culture, Support for the propagation of knowledge about UG5, and financial support to drive any projects to meet their goal. DIRI and Svami Vivekananda Subharti University signed the MoU on May 30, 2016 and having academic commitment for 10 years.
